Davis Funeral Home has provided advance funeral planning to the families of our community for many years. Our arrangements are designed to meet the needs of each individual family. Some people prefer to simply express their preferences and have many questions about funerals answered without incurring any costs or obligation. Others want more complete details and funding options. Many are seeking to preserve assets as their loved ones are facing long term care expenses.
We are fully licensed by the State of Illinois Comptrollers office and bonded. We use the Illinois Funeral Directors Association Trust for all of our pre-need funds, because it offers several options to be considered and has a successful history of interest and growth of deposits. We exceed state requirements by depositing 100% of all funds entrusted to our care, and waive our management fees in order to maximize the growth of the funeral trust. In addition, we compound 100% of the interest earned by your account, not the 75% required by state laws.
These are not common practices, but we hope demonstrates our commitment to the families we serve.
We do not have telemarketers or sales people. Your funeral planning is provided by licensed funeral directors. We will not call you or send unwanted brochures. We ask that you contact us for an appointment when you are prepared to start your funeral planning.
